New Associate Joins Tonkon Torp

November 7, 2011

Duncan B. Delano has joined Tonkon Torp LLP as a new associate in the Business Department. His focus will be on natural resource and environmental issues.

"Duncan's academic excellence and real world professional training make him a great addition to our Environmental & Natural Resources Practice Group," said Michael M. Morgan, managing partner.

Delano earned his law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School, where he was Symposium Editor of the Environmental Law Review, a recipient of the Natural Resources Law Scholarship, and a research assistant on the International Environmental Law Project, where he conducted research and compiled information for a forthcoming textbook on climate change law.

Following his graduation from law school in 2010, Delano and his wife served as volunteers in a children's nursery in Ecuador. Delano returned to the U.S. last spring for a clerkship with Judge Rebecca Duncan at the Oregon Court of Appeals. His background also includes experience as a research assistant for the Natural Resources Defense Council and work as a project assistant and law clerk for litigation firms in New York and Portland.
