Oregon Humanities Taps Jeff Cronn for Board of Directors

Jeffrey Cronn has been elected to the board of directors of Oregon Humanities.

 

Cronn is a partner at Tonkon Torp LLP, where he has chaired the firm’s Business Department since 2008. His legal practice emphasizes merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions, and a range of corporate and business matters. 

 

Active in the community, Cronn is a founder of Marathon Scholars, a college access program for low income children, and is involved with the James Beard Public Market and literary and other nonprofit organizations in the Portland area. He graduated from the University of Michigan Law School and the University of California, Berkeley, with a focus on American history and literature. 

 

Established in 1971, Oregon Humanities is an independent, nonprofit affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Through a variety of programs, the organization works to connect Oregonians to ideas that change lives and transform communities.
