Biography:

Marco practices in the firm’s Business Department, where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions and security offerings.  Prior to joining our firm, he worked for three years in London (and briefly in Hong Kong) for Herbert Smith LLP, a large international law firm.  There he represented corporate clients and investment banks in a wide range of business transactions including public and private securities offerings, M&A, debt refinancing and other corporate matters.  

                                            

Marco practices in the firm’s Business Department, where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.  Marco also advises both public and closely-held companies on a range of corporate governance and business matters, including contract negotiation, regulatory compliance and entity formation.  Prior to joining our firm, he worked for three years in London (and briefly in Hong Kong) for Herbert Smith LLP, a large international law firm.  There he represented corporate clients and investment banks in a wide range of business transactions including public and private securities offerings, M&A, debt refinancing and other corporate matters.  

                                            

Before moving to England in 2007, Marco worked for two years with another Portland law firm.  A 2005 graduate of UCLA School of Law, he also worked as a legal intern for the American Civil Liberties Union, was a teaching fellow and taught legal principles to high schools students through the LeBouf Scholar program.

 

Marco is highly proficient in Spanish and Italian.  In his free time he enjoys fly fishing, skiing and soccer and spending time with his family.
