Biography:
Kimberlee, a member of the Real Estate and Land Use, Environmental and Natural Resources, and Sustainability Practice Groups, emphasizes a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, environmental law, and land use. In her varied real estate practice, Kimberlee manages transactions involving purchases and sales, leases, planned community development, sustainability and other land use and environmental matters.

Her experience representing parties on either side of the transaction – landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers – facilitates negotiations and favorable deal closings. In her practice, she works with clients in such industries as construction and development, energy, forest products, manufacturing and professional services.

Kimberlee's representative matters include:

  • Representing a large, privately-held timber company in various ongoing timberland and mill purchases and sales in Oregon, Idaho, Montana, California and Washington. Relevant issues include easements, timberland transactions, water rights, and other real estate concerns.

  • Representing a seller of a mixed-use commercial and residential apartment building in downtown Portland.

  • Works on real estate matters for large renewable energy projects throughout the United States.

  • Participating in the Portland Harbor Superfund site remedial investigation.

  • Counsels manufacturing clients regarding environmental permitting matters.

  • Counseled a local nonprofit in its acquisition of a site for 90 units of affordable housing.
Kimberlee was a moderator for the Oregon State Bar's CLE The Promise of Development: Natural Resource Issues in a New Economy.

Kimberlee was a member of the Portland Business Alliance's Leadership Portland Class of 2008.
