Biography:

Duncan is an associate in the firm’s business department, in the Environmental and Natural Resources Practice Group.    

 

Duncan earned his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School, where he was a recipient of a Natural Resources Law Scholarship and Symposium Editor of the Law Review: Environmental Law.  He also served as a research assistant on the International Environmental Law Project, where he compiled information for a textbook on climate change law.  

 

Duncan recently completed a clerkship with Judge Rebecca Duncan at the Oregon Court of Appeals.

 

A 2005 graduate of Boston College, Duncan majored in environmental geosciences.  He studied for a semester at the Universidad de San Francisco de Quito, in Ecuador.  Proficient in Spanish, he and his wife recently spent two months in Ecuador, volunteering in a children’s nursery. 

 

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Duncan was a research assistant at the Natural Resource Defense Council and a project assistant for a litigation law firm in New York.  

 

Outside of the office, Duncan enjoys skiing, basketball, traveling and being in the outdoors.
