Biography:

As a member of the firm's Business Department, Craig focuses on issues involving mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and general business matters.  He has experience assisting clients in entity formation and corporate governance, drafting transactional and other corporate agreements, and advising on federal and state securities laws.

 

In addition to his general transactional and corporate practice, Craig has had significant experience assisting clients in the financial services industry, such as investment advisers, broker-dealers and private investment funds.   For example, Craig regularly counsels financial service providers on:

 

·         Licensing, reporting and public disclosure requirements

·         Securities law compliance matters arising in connection with private investment fund formation and fund investment activities

·         Codes of ethics and compliance manuals

·         Investment management agreements

 

Craig earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he served as an editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology and represented indigent clients at criminal "show-cause" hearings.  Before law school, Craig taught middle school science and math in Phoenix, Arizona.
