Biography:
Colin practices in the firm's Labor & Employment group. He joined Tonkon Torp following a federal judicial clerkship with U.S. Magistrate Judge Dennis Hubel. Colin previously clerked for U.S. District Judge Garr M. King and served as a judicial extern to Justice Virginia Linder of the Oregon Supreme Court.
Colin graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2009. During law school he was a board member of the Moot Court as well as the Western U.S. Regional Champion for the National Appellate Advocacy Competition.
Following four years as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), representing the best interests of children in Department of Human Services child welfare matters, Colin was appointed as an Oregon Child Advocacy Fellow. He currently serves on the board of the U.S. District Court Historical Society and the Federal Bar Association, Oregon Chapter.
In his free time, Colin enjoys running, cycling, producing music, and spending time with his family.
