Biography:

An attorney with Tonkon Torp since 2003 and a partner since 2010, Caroline focuses on litigation and resolution of business owner disputes and cases involving accounting issues. She is experienced in litigation over contracts, fiduciary duties, copyrights, damage to business property, employment, and real estate. She has taken more than a dozen cases to trial before juries, judges and arbitrators. In addition, she has advised and represented clients in regulatory proceedings. She is especially skilled at presenting complex business transactions in an easy to understand way so that the judge or jury can make the right decision. She was named as a "Rising Star" in Super Lawyers 2009-2011 and was named the Up and Coming Lawyer of the Year for 2010 by the Daily Journal of Commerce (Portland, Oregon).

In January 2009, Caroline served as a special prosecutor in the Multnomah District Attorney's office. During the course of the month, she completed several jury trials and bench trials, along with numerous court hearings.

Caroline clerked for the Honorable Charles S. Haight in the Southern District of New York prior to joining Tonkon Torp. While attending New York University School of Law, Caroline mediated disputes in civil court, in small claims court, and at the Manhattan Mediation Center. She also served as an articles editor on the NYU Law Review.

Caroline enjoys spending time with her family, swing and tango dancing, and hiking.
