Biography:
Bruce has a broad business and corporate law practice, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial law and contract drafting, and representation of lenders and borrowers in a variety of financing transactions.

Bruce has handled hundreds of financing transactions, representing banks, asset based lenders, and other lending institutions. Bruce has also represented borrowers in connection with a variety of financing transactions, including bank lines of credit, real estate loans, private placements and public debt offerings.

Bruce serves as general counsel for businesses in several industries. For several years, Bruce has represented Banfield, one of the country's leading veterinary practices, with respect to corporate matters, financing, acquisitions and contractual arrangements.

Bruce is recognized as a leader in banking law by the nationally trusted legal directory, The Best Lawyers in America®.

He joined Tonkon Torp in 1979, was elected to the Managing Board in January 2003 and elected Chair of the Managing Board in September 2005. Prior to Joining Tonkon Torp, Bruce clerked for the Honorable George M. Joseph, Oregon Court of Appeals.
