Biography:

In her work with the firm’s Litigation Department, Anna represents individuals and businesses in a diverse range of disputes, including matters with contract, business tort,antitrust and constitutional law components.

Anna's experience includes trial work in federal and state court, as well as in private arbitrations and mediations. Representative experiences include:
  • Successfully defending a small business in a trial involving breach of contract and fraud claims, resulting in an award of attorney fees to her client.
  • Winning summary judgment, in both state and federal court, on behalf of a large regional health care provider facing a variety of employment law claims.
  • Prevailing in a federal appeal involving Fair Credit Billing Act and Unlawful Debt Collection Practices Act claims.

 

Anna taught first-year torts as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Oregon in 2007.  Prior to joining the firm, Anna was a law clerk for The Honorable Alfred T. Goodwin, on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. 

 
She is part of a team of lawyers that was awarded the Multnomah Bar Association Pro Bono Award of Merit in 2007 for federal litigation on behalf of the Oregon Law Center and Legal Aid Services of Oregon.    

 

Anna is a member of the Oregon State Bar Committee on Federal Practice and Procedure.  She also serves on the Board of Directors of Photolucida, a contemporary photography nonprofit.
