Biography:

As a member of the firm's business department, Andrea's practice emphasizes securities, corporate governance and general corporate matters.  She has experience in business formation for limited liability companies, advising on state and federal securities laws and SEC reporting and disclosure matters. 

 

Andrea earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis.  During law school, she worked as a judicial intern for Chief Judge Larry J. McKinney of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana.  Andrea also served as the executive symposium editor for the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review.  She is the author of "A New Trade Policy for America: Do Labor and Environmental Provisions in Trade Agreements Serve Social Interests or Special Interests?" 19 Ind. Int'l & Comp. L. Rev. 167 (2009).

 

During her final year, Andrea participated in the law school's Immigration Clinic.  In that capacity, she represented clients before the Chicago Asylum Office and the Chicago Immigration Court.

 

Prior to entering law school, Andrea studied Spanish and the economic impacts of NAFTA in Guadalajara, Mexico.

 

Outside of the office, Andrea enjoys travelling, salsa dancing, camping and skiing.
