David Aman Named to Lead Tonkon Torp’s Intellectual Property Practice Group

Tonkon Torp LLP has named David Aman to lead the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. 

 

The group works with technology, manufacturing, creative services and entertainment companies to protect trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and patents and to negotiate and structure licensing agreements and other transactions. A significant part of the practice is litigation focused on protecting and enforcing clients’ intellectual property rights as well as defending infringement claims brought against clients.        

 

Aman joined Tonkon Torp in 1996 following his graduation, summa cum laude, from Lewis & Clark Law School. He became a partner in 2003. A litigator, Aman represents plaintiffs and defendants in cases of patent, copyright and trademark infringement, trade secret misappropriation and other business disputes. He also advises clients on antitrust issues arising out of licensing and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
