![]() Max Miller Named to Lead Tonkon Torp’s Environmental & Natural Resources Practice GroupJun 15, 2010Tonkon Torp LLP has named Max Miller to lead the firm’s Environmental & Natural Resources Practice Group. The group works with companies involved in manufacturing, agriculture, forest products, energy and transportation, among others, on issues related to hazardous waste cleanup, permitting, natural resources use and protection, water rights and regulatory compliance. The practice involves business advice, administrative proceedings and litigation of complex environmental issues. Miller’s business counsel and litigation practice focus on complex hazardous waste, air and water pollution matters, as well as forestry and renewable energy. He is currently involved in the Portland Harbor Superfund matter, among other cleanup sites. A graduate of Active in a variety of community organizations, Miller serves on the Mayor’s Economic Cabinet, Regional Arts and Culture Council Board including the Governing Committee of the Right Brain Initiative, MetroArts, Inc. Board, and Friends of the Children Endowment Committee. |
